Gonorrhea is an STD (sexually transmitted disease) and is caused by a bacteria called Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Gonorrhea can infect the eyes, anus, throat, female reproductive tract, eyes, urethra, and vagina. Luckily, gonorrhea home remedies can help to treat the disease itself and the symptoms.
How is it Spread?
Gonorrhea, like any other STD, is spread through unprotected sex. Most commonly, it is found among people who have multiple sexual partners. People often assume that using a condom will stop the spread of the STD, but that is not always the case, as condoms can tear.

The symptoms of gonorrhea differ depending on the sex of the person, but the symptoms do not tend to show for two to fourteen days after the STD is contracted.
